On Judging People and Such
Who the hell gave people the right to judge someone they don’t know?! Seriously, I want an answer to that! God, and only God, has the right to judge people. I mean really, before making a sleazy judgment about someone, have you thought of what he or she might be going through? Or their circumstances?
For example, when you call someone an ignorant person, can I know how did you manage to know that?! Is it because he doesn’t walk with a sign above his head that says “I’m a walking encyclopedia“? Or maybe because he’s a quiet person and not a talkative one? Or maybe because he doesn’t involve himself in every discussion on Earth? For one thing, knowledge can never be measured; the amount of knowledge someone holds can’t be known or measured because knowledge has no limits. For the other, the more you know, the more you know that you don’t know!
How can you tell that someone is careless about his or her health just because they are overweight? Have it come to your mind that this person might be having health problems? How can you tell that this person is rough, and doesn’t like people because he doesn’t greet you in the morning, or talk to you like the others? For all you know, he might be going through bad times, or simply bored of people your alike.
And even if you can base your judgment on a sole act, it doesn’t also mean you know that person. Because sometimes, most of us do certain things despite of our will. Put yourself in a situation where you are called such a name, arrogant for example. Would you be mad knowing that you are not such an arrogant person?

well u r right but really sometimes some actions make u or may I say force u to judge people especially people whom u r in contact with … I have a good judgment on people’s characters but I don’t say anything unless I know that he/she will be interested in my opinion and won’t get bothered ….

Judging people is one of the worst things ever but we are judgemental in a way or another.. we try to understand others and our judgements are our only way to do that ! some people over do it and turn what should be a long thought of judgement into a hasty generalization they base on a single action or remark the other person made !
PS: sorry for the simple brain thingy
I shouldn’t have judged u , but cartoons are a great way to know others

We are all judgemental by nature. We’re almost always wrong. But we do it anyway because the 1% of the times that we turn out to be right save us so much heartache the make it actually worth it
There’s no harm in judging, based on facts. There is no harm in generalizing based on knowledge.
Every time we decide to like or hate someone we are actually passing judgement and there’s no way around it for any human!
If anyone thinks that they never judged, then they really don’t have the whole story right! They don’t know themselves even.

SimSim,
Well yes, inno there’s a difference between judgment people for the sake of it, which is wrong, and between criticizing people in order to help them fix something, which is right if done the right way.
Lost Within,
Yes you are right, I’m not going to say that I’ve never judged anyone, I’m no saint. But I try not to. About generalization, it’s as bad as judging people; and in most cases the people who generalize they hardly have enough information to do so.
Walik noo, don’t be.
That is not judgment, that is joking, and honestly I didn’t feel offended at all, on the contrary I smiled remembering my childhood, so don’t worry about it.
Qwaider,
We all are, I agree. There’s no harm based on facts and knowledge, but how much knowledge do you need? Or what is the right amount of knowledge that enables you to do so?!
And yes, everyone has made a judgment!
As for the tag, I’m on it.
Tala,
I second that.
Asad,
In a way, it’s the same as hate the game, not the players. But for me, I hate the players.
Sara,
Lool, it’s funny. But it raises another issue. I do assume the worst in people, but that’s only because I gave them enough benefit of the doubt to know so.
Asoom,
Actually, it IS a huge sign of immaturity, second that.

Well I guess I meant by judging people in my post, judging them the wrong way. But as for compliments, even if it’s not valid, I don’t think there’s any harm!
